The new reality

As I begin week 4, almost, of isolation I am hovering between optimism for the ' new reality ' I've been presented with and a sense of nervousness at what may happen.

When I look at the quote above I imagine how extraordinary our world could be, especially in the light of all the beautiful and altruistic acts we humans have performing in recent days and weeks.

And yet I am nervous that the elected people who have generally had the power to make our big decisions for us, will try to ' put the genie back in the bottle ' and drag us backwards.

I now experience better air quality, calmer streets, a much improved work life balance and more meaningful relationships.

I would prefer not to go back...!!!
